July 30, 2011 - Lester's Farm

hi to my readers,

my hubby and i took the girls to lester's farm market this morning to pick strawberries and it was really fun. when we got there, we had a trailer ride to where you could pick the strawberries and let me tell you, there were so many strawberries that we didn't know where to start. we each picked enough berries to fill 4 quarts and the price really wasn't too bad, only 2.50 a pound so we had 4 quarts so we paid 13.oo total!! not bad!!! we gave 2 quarts to my mom and my aunt, some to gord's mom and the rest are ours. there won't be any problem eating them because they are so red, ripe and juicy and they won't be in the fridge very long, trust me.

after lester's farm, me, gord and the girls called jenn and asked her if she wanted to go to mcdonald's with us for lunch. she said yes so we all had a nice lunch together and it was really nice to spend some time together with jenn. tomorrow, all of us are planning to go to salmonier nature park to see the animals and have a picnic there too. i am really looking forward to going because i have never been there before and i think that we will all have a great time there tomorrow.

as for me, my pain is still really bad and the medication is not doing anything to help. so as you can imagine, i am really frustrated and cranky because i am still not sleeping very well as the pain keeps waking me up and it is really hard trying to get back to sleep. and that bloody lymph node in my neck has started to flare up again and it is really painful, so add that to the severe pain of my occipital nerve neurolgia and you have the most excruciating pain you can think of. i plan to call my new pain doctor on monday and hopefully he will be able to see me. anyways, that's about it for now, i will update on monday.

have a great weekend,

kim.
