hi readers,

it is hard to believe that it is the first of august already!!!! and only 2 more days until the regatta!!! yikes where has the summer gone!!! yesterday, my hubby and i took the girls to salmonier nature park to see the animals and we had a great time. the weather was decent for the drive out, we arrived safely and we didn't see any moose!!!! the walkway to the animals was really beautiful, we saw a snowy owl, a brown horn owl, a newfoundland martin, canada geese, a fox who was having a nap and an arctic fox who was also having a snooze. all the animals were so beautiful and the entire trail that we walked took about an hour which was 2.5k and it was a really nice walk. after we finished the trail, we headed to the picnic table to have our nice picnic lunch, and then a bathroom break before we headed home. just when we were getting into the car, the sky opened up and poured buckets and we were lucky that we saw the animals when we did because the people that were arriving just as we were leaving ran back to their cars because of the pouring rain. i really enjoyed myself because that was my first time there and we are planning to take the girls back there again before they go back to school.

i am still trying to get a hold of my pain doctor with no success. i am still in a lot of pain and the medication is just not helping. i am still not sleeping well because of the pain so i try to to take a nap during the day. i will keep you posted and i will blog tomorrow.
