regatta day

my hubby and i took the girls to the regatta this morning and despite the drizzle, we had a blast. we arrived at the pond around 9:30 and by the time we walked down to the games of chance it was 9:45. the first goods wheel that we tried was the torbay volunteer fire department and that was the wheel where we had the most luck because we all went home with 3 stuffed animals each. after that, tori had some ice cream and watched the boat races and the people walking by. we also ran into a few people that we knew and stopped to have a chat. then we went for a walk and tried our luck at a few other games of chance, but we didn't have any luck so we decided to sit on the grass and watch the boat races until it was time for lunch. and you can't go to the regatta and not have a plate of french fries, am i right???? you know what i'm talking about!!!!

we left to go home around 1:30 because we were all tired and because my head was in a lot of pain from the occipital neurolgia. and because i didn't sleep very well last night. i plan to go to bed early tonight so i can get rest my poor aching head. the medication is still not helping and i am still trying to get an appointment to see my doctor as soon as possible to see if my medication needs to be adjusted or if i need to be put on something else to try to help this severe pain in my head. keep your fingers crossed and pray that i get an appointment soon.

and on a final note, i want to send a get well wish to a very special fat cat named Danny who is sick and not feeling very well today. i love you tons and tons, Danny and i hope that you feel better soon, so get lots of rest and please know that all your friends, tori, tara, sour puss, and myself, along with your furry friends, garfield, oreo, hammy and charlie love you a lot too and send their love for a fast and speedy recovery.
